Hi, Ya’ll~ Dirt Road Delight is starting to record our record tomorrow, August 26.

We have 1o originals written by us, one written by our friend Barry Ross, and one old traditional we’ll be working on.

The studio is in an amazing part of the world.. Located in a beautiful old Cherokee cabin beside the pristine Toccoa (Beautiful Land) River in the North Georgia Mountains..

It is interesting, because the home we own also has the name Toccoa.

The man doing the engineering and production,Mr. Ric Landers at~  is a longtime Nashville based professional who has just relocated to the mountains a year ago.
Daniel, Me, and my longtime fiddle and flatpicking champion/friend Billy Ward will be playing on the record.

We’ll be staying around close by, playing a few local gigs til we get it mastered and put out there for you all to enjoy.

Our new improved, interactive blog will debut the same time as the record, and will make it even easier and more fun to delight in with us.

Be blessed friends, and stay in touch by emailing me

tedi@dirtroaddelight.com, or leave a comment here for us. I check them all.

We just got back from a learning expedition into the wilds of North Georgia..

We went to the First Annual Cherokee Fiddlers Convention in Lafayette, Georgia.

It was three days of great learning about the festival circuit, fun, great music, and great jammin in the woods.

I played til my fingers had to be taped up to function..Heaven on Earth.

Met and played with  some great players.. The Bibb City Ramblers, Rurik Nunan, Larry Keel, Bobby Miller, The Snake Oil Medicine Show, Zebulon Bowles, Mario Piccolo..Swing King of the Universe :)

Made some great new friends, connections, and took some pictures. Look for them here.

Now we’re back at home, looking for a great cheap way to post videos, working on our record, and adding an optin-box this week on the blog..

Have a blessed week all my new and old friends alike :)

PEACE n LOVE, Tedi

Hello, Music lovers around the world:

This is my first post, July 3rd, 2009.

We are practicing and writing new songs every week in preparation for our debut record.

We’ll be recording our music on a Zoom H2, digital recorder here at my home in the mountains of Blue Ridge, Georgia.

Look to start getting free downloads of our music in the coming weeks.
